Terms of use

The terms, in plain words

Last updated 1 November 2026.

These terms apply when you use Reminisce Road. By using it, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

What you own

Your photographs, your recordings and the words you say are yours. We do not claim ownership of them. You give us permission to store them, process them and show them back to you and the people you share them with, only so that Reminisce Road can work.

What you add

Only add photographs you have the right to use. Please do not add anything unlawful, or anything that would harm someone else. If you add photographs or speak about other people, be considerate of their privacy too.

Families and organisations

If you use Reminisce Road on behalf of a care home, hospital or other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to do so, and that the people you support have agreed to take part, or that someone who is allowed to decide for them has.

What we provide

We work hard to keep Reminisce Road available and your memories safe. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted, and we may change or improve how it works. If we ever stop offering it, we will give you notice and a way to keep what you have saved.

The questions in a conversation are written by a computer. They aim to be gentle and specific, but they can occasionally be wrong about what is in a photograph. Reminisce Road is not a medical or therapeutic service.

Payments

Paid plans are shown before you buy, with their price. Payments are taken by our payment provider.

Ending your account

You can stop using Reminisce Road at any time and ask us to delete your account through the contact page. We may suspend an account that is used to harm others or breaks these terms.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen.

Changes and law

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell you about important changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
